Website of the Day
NetGranny is a Swiss sock knitting cooperative of 15 Grandmothers that custom knit socks which you order online. Personalised products are great and you can’t get much more personalised than selecting your own Granny to knit you a pair of socks just in time for winter. I just think this is just one of the ideas that makes you scratch your head and question why on Earth has someone not set something like this up before!

Dial-a-Granny hehe - novel idea!
Fortunately we in Dubai do not need socks to keep us warm, I only own one pair for the gym! Y'all in Al Ain, though, wouldn't go amiss with sheepskin jackets and leather boots at winter time. Perhaps another idea for diversification in the Dial-a-Granny company strategy. :)
OK I had the thought that you could choose a custom made sheepskin jacket... pick photo of sheep, pick photo of tanner and tailor, but it is just all too disturbing! I don't even like going to the livestock souq.
