Well I guess the best place to go from the lounge room is the dining room, after all they are connected. I noticed in the photos the lounge looks a lot smaller than it is, but both it and the dining room run the full length of the back of the villa; and as I say this A is expending some energy using both rooms as a running track dodging in and out of furniture to the sound of The Beatles (his current music of choice).
By the way the dining table/chairs and 3 sideboards are from Morocco (via Pan in Abu Dhabi Mall), very solid and heavy, and were quite inexpensive.

I really love the home pics. I like your choice of colours: the pale green against dark wood...and the oriental rugs. It seems like a lovely home.
The Pan Emirates suggestion is excellent: I used to go there and bought some coffee tables ages ago. I'm looking for some sturdy sideboards and what better place to go now, thanks to your suggestions!
Hi Imaginate,
Yep - Pan is recommended! They had a great (new) selection of handcarved Moroccan furniture....wait till you see the bedroom!
Heavy and not much fun to move about...and certainly not looking forward to pack up day...but, nice stuff.

lucky you in Andalus.
I personally like the 'look' of Aoun (not sure of spelling this time of morning..)But, yes, Andalus is a lovely compound...and the villa is beyond what we expected. Where are you?

I believe you are mentioning about Oyoun Village, opposite of Etisalat? But the villas are smaller than Andalus. I'm somewhere in Qattara, opp. Al Jimi Oasis.
