The kitchen... which is clean now; one of the things when you have visitors isn’t it!
K’s office space at one end, laundry at the other, and the door out into the carport. The kitchen doesn’t really seem to have air conditioning as such, but does have air blowing around a little... sometimes it is warm in there, but most the time it seems ok. Is a good sized kitchen, even with our Home Centre table and stools stuck in the middle of the room.
Not really too much else to say, as it is just the place to make coffee, get food, eat breakfast, and for some reason they decided there was the need for 24 fluorescent tubes to light the room!

Sexy kitchen! Looks like the kind I could spend the whole day in, especially with that cute table!
LOL @ fluorescent lights. Yes, indeed - why, oh why! I think it's area-specific ;) Us folks in Dubai benefit from nice spotlights ;)
Mind you if you ever go to Satwa (Dubai) in the evening, make sure you carry a pair of sunglasses as the sea of fluorescent lighting is almost blinding. I mean is there some kind of mentality that "my shop lights are brighter than yours" means customers will be more attracted? No way, I run as far as I can! I'm sure there's a shop or two of the same description in Al Ain...I saw one. Shall I tell you where it is? It's near the ROUNDABOUT. You know where that is, right? ;)
I like the "my shop lights are brighter than yours" comment. I think that describes it perfectly. Doha is also rather prone to that with much of inner city being a blaze with neon, and then when you are actually inside some of the shops the heat generated from the internal lighting is just funny.
At least for the moment you don't need too much neon to be number 1!
